Image and Video search done right

-
Automatic detection and recognition of object features.
-
Advanced classification and grouping.
-
Decision management platform to allow or prohibit
content.
Whether
published, stored, or shared, large amounts of photographs
and videos are now being distributed electronically.
Controlling visual content is becoming a critical and
time-consuming function for many enterprises.
FileIndexing automatically analyzes and classifies the
flow of visual content. It enables:
-
Searching images and videos for desired images, image
attributes, or objects
-
Filtering and classifying incoming images and videos
-
Performing “exact match” and “close match” with
pre-selected image types of interest
-
Customizing the decision management platform.Anenterprise could:
-
Automatically prohibit or allow “exact match” images
and videos, and flag content source for possible
further action.
-
Route “close match” to administrator to prohibit or
allow content.
-
Automatically prohibit or allow images with very low
match to images of interest.
Real-time image analysis and
indexing
An
enterprise can filter data in real-time with FileIndexing.
First, the system analyzes an image or video dataflow by
disaggregating it into its component visual features
(shape, color, texture, etc). This dataflow is then turned
into digital signals which are then compared with a stored
library of visual images, identifying to what degree the
content matches any image in the library. A host of
decisions can then be made regarding the content.
Function
Image Search – Users could bring back search results
finding exact matches and close matches of photographs and
videos with others in the image library or elsewhere
Filter – Enterprises can prevent unwanted visual content
from being loaded to a system. FileIndexing returns a
customized score for each image, allowing an administrator
to take action accordingly (block, quarantine, deliver,
etc).
Visual
categories
Several recognition categories have been configured (e.g.,
pornography). Since FileIndexing is a learning tool,
other categories can be expanded and developed manually by
users. Virtually any sought after image category can be
configured.
Examples

Configurations
-
FileIndexing products can be used internally by
corporate functions within enterprises (e.g., screening
incoming content posted by users for pornography) or
externally by end-user customers of media assets (e.g,
searching for photo or video content by users of an
image sharing website).
-
Internal use products come preconfigured with a base to
detect pornographic images, and allow the addition of an
unlimited number of additional bases, such as for hate
object detection (e.g., swastikas), for exact match
detection of missing or exploited children, and for
trademark object detection (e.g., golden arches).
Architecture
-
Scalable and compliant with high availability clustered
architecture.
-
Computation cache (for large volumes of images).
Intergration
-
Microsoft .Net framework.

Supported image formats: jpg, gif, bmp, etc.
-
Supported video formats: mpeg, avi, etc.
